Sicily, Leonforte
The first family to contact us here and so the bridge grows
My very first contact and family realtionship across the pond. Salvatore Benintende, his Aunt and Uncle Gaetano and Concetta ! A very kind, intelligent and heart warming clan of Benintende's. Some of them have spread out into Rome, Leonforte and Gaetano is now in Germany. Salvatore had begun trying to put the Benintende family tree's together from the Sicily side and I from the United States side and we hooked up about 7 years ago and began as close friends from the start and as close to being family as a last name like Benintende can bring you ! Today, our bond is even stronger and even though we have not actually connected the exact dots between our two Benintende families, our two families have bonded as if we grew up together as one family ! ! On facebook, birthday wishes are sent back and forth on a timely fashion for almost each family member. Each family member on both sides of the pond, knows what illnesses face the other and what great things are occurring for the other and well wishes and support are sent both ways in loving family support, always. I love my Leon Forte Benintende family and I am so grateful that GOD, the internet and Salvatore brought us together as one, I can't wait for us to meet and hug FACE to FACE ! For me it again, reinforces my belief that Benintende's are people with huge hearts and are people who LOVE their family. Salute' !

Please welcome our newest member of the Benintende.org website, Vincenzo Benintende, his wife and his Son ! I will be uploading Vincenzo's family information very soon. Vincenzo does give us some interesting history about our family.
Roughly speaking, a part of the family Benintende (1750-1800) lived near Milan, and they
were very large landowners believe that the area in which the goods were either
Rho, but I'm not sure. Due to some disputes on property, they separated, a part
of the family will move 'in Sicily and some stayed in Milan. Moved by the
parties in Sicily Gela and the surrounding areas, Niscemi and hinterland. My
Grandfather was born in Niscemi Vincent and landowner of the feuds Room, Polte
longo, Vitusu and others who do not remember, had a son from his first marriage,
Vincent, worked as a surveyor in the town, his first wife died he remarried his
first wife's sister "Angela Chiaromonte "by which marriage were born: Mary,
Franca, Thomas (my father) Michael.
Vincenzo was born a daughter, I can not to name.
From Mary (now Muscia) was born "Mariuzza" only child, died.
Da Franca (The Judge) was born Stella (deceased), Enzo, Angela.
