Registry
Supervisor
2002-2011
My love
and passion in the horse breeding and registry field has been the personal relationships and life long friendships that have developed with the members
and owners of these rare, precious, unique and magnificent breeds of horses from all over the world. My field of expertise has been to walk these caring and concerned owners through the complicated process of registering their horses in the Andalusian and Lusitano Blood Line Registries. As these incredible beast all transcend from royalty, their blood line and proper documentation of that bloodline and DNA is of the utmost importance in the value and records of that particular horse. Processing of all
applications, transfers of ownership and modifications needed to existing
certificates of registration has been under my umbrella for the past 9 years, as ordering of microchips and DNA hair packages have been also. I then research to verify all bloodlines for horses out of the country. I have been responsible for direct
contact with our sister associations in Portugal, Brazil, Spain and Mexico. As part of my responsibilities I have also been gathering and preparing all documents for the quarterly Board of Directors
meetings and setting up conference calls for Board of
Directors. Last, but certainly not least it has been my distinct pleasure to communicate the horse owners’ needs and qualifications to Registrar
and appropriate Board members. I also maintained membership lists, notifying
members when membership and registration fees are due. I then served as liaison
between International members and Board of Directors.
