Resume Of Lila J. Benintende, CBRP
COVER LETTER

Dear Potential Employer,

My name is Lila J. Benintende, and after close to 10 years with the same organization I find myself needing to find a new job. My previous organization suffered severe financial losses which left them with no choice but to reduce all of there work force, as there was no money left to pay salaries. After 35 years of non stop working, I have been so very blessed to have been involved with the most incredible and exciting career a person could ever ask for. Not only because of the nature of the career, but because of the unique skill sets it afforded me to become quite good with. Working with one of the most expensive and royal bloodlines of Equines known to man kind is very precise and detailed work. The owners and members of our association are all the type of people who demand excellence both in work product and in timing and I can proudly say, my reputation with our owners and members is second to none.

Even though it appears my career has been horses, this is not true, my career has been to deal with and assist the people who own and care for these magnificent beast and getting those people their proper certification and bloodline registry, after all, this is the very worth of these worthy Equines.

I also bring to the table from working with my husband for many years the ability to book national talent of ANY type direct from their agent with out you having to go out of house for any special events, you or your organization may have. When I say national artist, yes, I am referring to people like Martina McBride, Randy Travis, Vince Gill, etc. or even a Super Star public speaker like Gen. Collin Powell, Bill Cosby and on and on. Also, through specialized software, I can perform any type of background, criminal or court records checks you may require, either from employee's or potential volunteers. In today's world unfortunately, this skill becomes more and more needed. If  so needed, I can assist you in choosing to most affordable most productive software for your needs.

Bottom line, I love people and I love working. I would love the opportunity to work for you. I love challenges and when given a team, I love taking that team and solving the impossible in today's business world and would love to do that for you ! !

Career Experience

International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association

 Registry Supervisor

2002-2011

My love and passion in the horse breeding and registry field has been the personal relationships and life long friendships that have developed with the members and owners of these rare, precious, unique and magnificent breeds of horses from all over the world. My field of expertise has been to walk these caring and concerned owners through the complicated process of registering their horses in the Andalusian and Lusitano Blood Line Registries. As these incredible beast all transcend from royalty, their blood line and proper documentation of that bloodline and DNA is of the utmost importance in the value and records of that particular horse. Processing of all applications, transfers of ownership and modifications needed to existing certificates of registration has been under my umbrella for the past 9 years, as ordering of microchips and DNA hair packages have been also. I then research to verify all bloodlines for horses out of the country. I have been responsible for direct contact with our sister associations in Portugal, Brazil, Spain and Mexico. As part of my responsibilities I have also been gathering and preparing all documents for the quarterly Board of Directors meetings and setting up conference calls for Board of Directors. Last, but certainly not least it has been my distinct pleasure to communicate the horse owners’ needs and qualifications to Registrar and appropriate Board members. I also maintained membership lists, notifying members when membership and registration fees are due. I then served as liaison between International members and Board of Directors.

To Whom it May Concern:

I have known Lila Benintende for the past decade and have worked with her for all of that time. Lila worked for the International Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Association as their Registry Supervisor as well as their Office Manager; the latter for the past year or so.

I have been a Director on the Board of this association for the better part of 25 years, as well as owning horses and belonging to this association as a full voting member.

Lila displays the utmost care to the detail involved with our Registry requirements and as well, she serves the membership in a most professional and businesslike way. She is loyal to her employer and in her position, her immediate supervisor changes from year to year, because her immediate supervisor is the President of the Association. The President is elected to the position and the person in this role changes from year to year.

I would not hesitate to hire Lila for any office or administrative position. I know she would serve her position well.

If I can answer any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
